North Lombok Regency (KLU) is a regency in the Provenci of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Indonesia. The capital is in Tanjung City. Regency of north Lombok this is one of 10 regencies/cities in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara, whose position is located in the northern part of Lombok Island with the position between 08° 21' 42" south latitude and 116° 09' 54" east longitude which also make it as the youngest district in province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). North Lombok regency (KLU) has a land area of 809.53 km2, and administratively divided into 5(five) District, 33 Village, 322 Dusun, which Bayan District has the largest area with an area of 329,10 km2 and the smallest is a Pemenang District with an area of 81.09 km2. The administrative boundaries of North Lombok Regency in the East are bordered by East Lombok Regency, Regency of West Lombok in the north, Lombok Strait in west, Regency of West Lombok and Central Lombok regency in the south.
North Lombok Regency (KLU) is classified as trapical climate with temperatures around 23.1°C with the highest temperature occurring in july-August 32,9°C and the lowest in April 20,9°C.
Geographical District of North Lombok is a cluster of mountains that stretches from District Bayan to District Pemenang. This mountains range is the source of river water that flows into the land areas and empties along the coast. topography of North Lombok Regency along its territory from the mountains and Pusuk Pass Forest is a place of mountainous tourism which is quite busy visited by foreugn and domestic tourists as a stopover place before entering tourism area in 3 Gili namely Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan which has marine tourism and natural beauty that is still natural and beautifull so it has a special attraction for tourist.
